The stuff that clogs up your razors is more than likely the dirt,oil and whatever gunk you have on your face before you start shaving.
Use a hot hand towel to wash your face before you shave and use hot water to rinse shaver and it will never clo up.

Multiple blades have been proven to last longer and give a closer cut without pulling as much as single blades.
I shave 3 times a week and have been using Gillette Mach's for years and I would never ever go back to a single blade shaver ever again!

I've been using a double edge razor for a few years now, after being a long time Mach 3 user. My skin has never been in better shape and I'm spending far less on blades these days. I also find that you get a much closer shave with a single blade. Still use the Mach 3 occasionally for travelling but I much prefer the double edge.
So you say you get a closer shave with a single blade yet for a few years now you are using a double blade shaver. So why use a double blade shaver that is goin to cost you more??
And why use a triple blade when you only travel?
Also with all due respect I am not trawling the internet to look for proof.
I have seen it for my own eyes,been shaving for over 30yrs and used countless shaver brands and different blade quantities and Gillette Mach's stands taller than all imo.
Take your own time and research it and it clearly tells you why multiple blades are better than single blade shavers.

He means an old fashioned single blade, sharp at both ends. The type that the old barbers used to use ( with added skill ). They are making a comeback with some shaving buffs.
Um, you can't find that 'proof' because it doesn't exist. I doubt anyone's done a study on it. I said I've been using a 'double edge' razor not a 'double blade'. There's only one blade on a double edge razor.
I use a Mach 3 when I travel because it saves time and Mach 3 is the best cartridge razor as far as I'm concerned. Double edge shaving takes a bit longer but the benefits are worth it IMO.
You are correct that cartridge razors last longer but they're also far more expensive. I pay like 10-20c for a blade, whereas a cartridge costs at least a few dollars.
Fair enough if you prefer cartridges. I find that a single blade is better for my skin and shaves closer. To each their own.

Hey i received mine the other day and tried them this morning. I dunno if its just me but i noticed these ones are rougher than usual. A brand new Mach3 usually cuts and glides like butter.
I did some research apparently theres a ton of fake mach3's going around. I will check and confirm when i get home

I got a full refund after emailing them. A guy named Richard called me and said they will check with their 'supplier'.I had to send back the razors with a reply paid label. I suggest you all do the same.

I emailed yesterday, still waiting to hear from them.
I got a call about 2-3days after i sent the email. They refunded me instantly and they emailed me the address to return the items too.

I kept one of the fake blades and ive used it a total of 3 times now, the whole blue lubricating strip is nearly gone already lol.
