this is no bargain, actually your price is expensive. your stated RRP for this printer is ridiculous, the normal not-on-sale price from Kmart for this printer is only $149. The cheapest price for this printer on staticice is $99

For the cartridge, we can use the compatible one for cheaper price, or as most of the ozbargainers here, buying new printer is cheaper than buying new cartridge. For those who just do occasional printing, then you should not buy the extra cartridge now because after a few years when your toner cartridge run out, this model has been discontinued and the price for your cartridge is much cheaper.
An example is the printer Brother HL-2040, there was sale + cashback back then for this printer, and now this model has been discontinued and the cartridge for this printer is only $35 at MSY.
If you are after some economical printer, search for the cheapest shop to buy to get the cashback :-)

Harvey Normam in NSW have it for $139 then the $40 cashback plus you get 4 paper packs (which seems to be 4 reams of photocopy paper). This is on the front page & again on page 11 of the current catalogue.
Is this really a good deal? These are only $99 on sale, less $40, which means $60.
