This deal suits those who do not have facility to download the game digitally and prefer to get the hard copy. This is the cheapest I could find.

What is this 'DVD PC' thing you speak of? Games come on discs? How strange…
I think it's something like those , records, cassettes and 8-tracks that old timers rhyme on about.
I havent bought a hard copy PC game in years so I could be wrong but dont you need to activate these games online through steam anyway before you can play?
Yes, you're correct. You'll still need to activate the account online.
However, for people like me who do not have huge data download quota/allowance each month to download 10GB - 30GB per game, I've to go old-fashioned way purchasing hard copy/ DVD. :)
10GB-30GB PS3 games are unusual. Most are within the 3GB-10GB bracket.
$15 is no bargain for Mortal Kombat considering it was on sale on Steam a few days ago for $9.99.
Same argument can apply to many games selling digitally. This is a top price for a hard copy though (like the OP mentioned in the description). For me personally, the premiums for a hard copy are worth it, and this is cheap.
Hard copies for the win.
