    There was a thing on the news last night about trying to track down Whirlpool Parts as they are leaving Australia and changing hands with the spare parts. So be careful, even under warranty a guy could not get a part from Whirlpool.

    Besides that Factory Seconds makes you think you're getting a great bargain, but for what they are selling their prices are crap. For example, harvey normal are cheaper brand new in normal non damaged box when you consider the postage option with 2nds.

      This isn't a bargain, you'd easily be able to get a bit more off the the Harvey Norman price for a new, undamaged item. If something as big as a fridge has enough carton damage that it's not sellable and needs to be wholesaled off to 2nds World then it's obviously been thrown around or dropped. The discount should be much higher than this.

        You may struggle to find a store with stock. Not everyone wants to haggle (especially on clearance prices), have a look at other retailers too to get a better idea on the pricing.
