I've got Telstra as the only provider
Bought one :)
Thanks to OPWill this work for another provider (i.e. TPG) if the line used is Telstra?
It doesn't know the difference who you use… You could even use it on (shock horror) VOIP!!
Thanks OP - seen that early this morning and bought one (pick-up)
Although seems like it doesn't have any speaker option…Bottom right button with the picture of a speaker might be the button to turn on speaker. Note, that there is a difference between speaker and handsfree. Instructions are not clear : http://www.telstrahomephones.com.au/products/CORDLESS/%7B6F3…
or get the 4 pack from TGG for $44

normally the handset would register with base straight away
try take the handset's battery out & connect power to the base 1st, then put the battery back into the handset.have some questions for you too: does the handset have "speakerphone" feature? and what sort of battery it uses?
cheers! got 2 for $31 using the $5 online voucher!
