Saw this deal at work yesterday and thought I'd share it as it looks to be quite a good alternative to the GoPro Action Cameras, particularly as it includes many useful mounts that the GoPro cameras don't include out of the box.

The MiGear camera recently dropped from $248 down to $98 and there is plenty of stock available throughout the company (my store had 12 units on hand).

    it definitely looks good on paper but i would really question the output - both video and audio quality/wind noise. also battery is probably only 2 hours

      Valid points.
      For $98 it might be worth a shot for some people.
      Regarding battery life, the GoPro Hero 3+ Black (1180mAh) has a battery life of ~2hrs, which is marginally worse than the Sony Action Cam (1240mAh battery).

    Did a google of this the other day.
    Was struggling to find many prices or reviews. Cheaper than ebayers but they are often overpriced / not up with price changes.
    Is it another brand rebadged?

    I wonder if this can be set to loop recording, and if it can record while plugged into USB power.

    I'd risk it, except I don't think DSE have a generous return policy anymore.

    POS guys! First one wouldn't even boot up, swapped it. Second one booted up but wouldn't charge, returned for credit. GoPro here I come!

    I've had very good results with the similarly priced SJ1000.
