Been researching these for my brother in law….and would go for something like the Samsung (wuich is going for $1286 at Harvey Norman).
Seen poor reviews on the LG (cons in colour reproduction). The Pana is good but has some blue tinge to the black levels. The samsung has good colour and black levels, but some apparently awkward 3D reproduction (which I would care the least about).
