Yeah and more but I'd be there for years writing it all down lol
Great job for typing all that so early in the morning. I thought I should mention the Apple accessories 20% off sale because it doesn't happen often.
Such a misleading advertisement! It's not apple accessories- claims that it's just some remote control equipment
Anyone experiencing the same thing?
So all of the big Boxing Day sales now start on Christmas Eve?
Seems a bit like most womens' magazines coming out 2 months before their cover date.
Anxiously awaiting Myer's Winter sale…"Anxiously awaiting Myer's Winter sale…"
With the way summer is going in Melbourne winter sale will be most welcome.
Is this the boxing day sale?
I think Myer is permanently on sale these days.
I dont like the word 'selected'
Any bargains though ?
I looked through their email and nothing stood out that I couldn't get cheaper elsewhere…
I'm looking at the bedding and furniture, looks pretty good to me for a company that sells it and actually pays taxes. (thinks of ikea and shivers…)
doesn't IKEA pay tax ?
Not much at all…
In Oz they pay "just $2.5 million out of the $556.6 million it received from customers in the year to the end of August, 2010."
"Because INGKA Holding is owned by the nonprofit INGKA Foundation, none of this profit is taxed."
What we really need is a tax on fx!
you're right you know. Hence why I dont like the word 'selected'. Usually blanket % off sales are good for picking up those items that simply never go cheap.
Ok, can someone please confirm that this is a sale for today only (or even onwards)?
I was in Myer the last few days and there was not much in terms of 'bargains'. The link sends me to the generic Myer site and the catalog deal they have is from 11 - 24 Dec. I think the 20% off toys link may be a today only one but not sure.

The catalogue says the sale starts 26th online & 27th in store. So stores will be closed boxing day.
So stores will be closed boxing day.
They are definitely OPEN on boxing day…
Ahh I see. I only check my area in Sydney and all stores and shopping centres are closed boxing day 26th. From what I can tell only selected stores are open boxing day. You will need to check the web site to confirm what stores and shopping centres are open boxing day 2013.
and all stores and shopping centres are closed boxing day 26th.
not all…
http://www.westfield.com.au/sydney/hours
in fact, it would be rare for any shopping centers to be closed in boxing day… One of the busiest days in the year for EFTPOS transactions…
Not true. For Sydney only CBD and Bondi Junction are open boxing day. All other shops are closed and reopen 27th.
All other shops are closed and reopen 27th.
You might as well go live in Adelaide then…
Actually JV, they don't have Boxing Day in Adelaide, in South Australia it's called Proclamation Day, but is a Public Holiday nonetheless ;-)
All the other states have Boxing Day, and traditionally only Victorian regulations allow major retailers to open on Boxing Day. NSW only allows major retailers to open on Boxing Day if they are in the CBD or a "tourist" area, but even then not all choose to do so.
One of the busiest days in the year for EFTPOS transactions
Since it is "rare" for retailers to open on the 26th of December, EXCEPT in Victoria, it would be hard to see how this could be possible elsewhere :p
On sale from 26th dec- 27th jan
Just check to make sure the sale doesn't start online on xmas day cause I swear I heard they were on the news but nothing in catalogue:)Thanks for that. Would be better to update the main post with this info.
Already says that up above to check whether sale starts xmas day
Where did you get this list from?
I didn't receive an email :(No email. view Through www.lasoo.com.au
Received an email from Myer about Stocktake Sale - links to catalog and the One Day Offers for the first day of sale.
http://myer.dtdmail.com.au/public/broadcast?sevt=889133816&e…
It also mentions the sale starts Christmas Day for the Online Store.
Not up yet.
I find the Myer website to be terribly buggy.
… and their website has crashed for the past few hours.
The $100 Macbook Air is cheap
Lol thanks for that I'm amazed know one else noticed. You have a good eye
Link please.
Their selection of menswear that has been reduced is pretty limited, the David Jones sale is much better imo.
Hopefully The Mens Shop, Asos and The Iconic provide some actual sales tomorrow.
just be careful when purchasing
got a ben sherman polo. website said 30. in store was 40
showed them the website and they matched
What a nightmare. Website is still down, lined up to buy quite a few things, very big disappointment. Bad PR!!!!
Their website is a joke. Even before the sales it'd often spit out an error. You'd think a store as big as Myer could get their shit together.
Surely this is hurting their sales, I've headed over to DJ's for the majority of my retail needs.
Also 20% off [App]cessories.
