Yes it's 5" smaller but it's not Kogan and a cheap plasma will be way better than a cheap led.

The Kogan LED TV is 50Hz, which will make motion almost unbearable on a 55".

I wouldn't go the LG Plasma mentioned in a comment before, either. It doesn't have a UV filter, so it will look great at night, but will be almost impossible to see the picture during the day.

We bought a 55" Kogan T.V. apx. 5 years ago. The thing has never worked properly ( always cuts out after apx. 10 mins & goes to a loud screeching noise with nothing but multi coloured stripes showing on the screen ) Despite many phone calls to Kogan nothing has been done - so the useless piece of s***! just sits on the wall doing nothing. Would never recommend this company to anyone.
