Looks like a good deal if you want the Kingston brand and 5 year warranty! 32GB drive is $80 shipped.

Static Ice for 32GB Kingston flash says lowest price is $89.95 through APUS, but when you click through it comes up as $105. MSY have them at $103
Generic 32gb flash (eg: Apacer) are ~$69 at MSY (selected branches), but otherwise around the $90 mark.

16Gb is $35 shipped at Topbuy, Static Ice says cheapest is APUS $39.95 plus shipping, but otherwise around $45.
Generic (Supertalent) is $34 plus shipping through Netplus, otherwise ~$45 for other brands.

Not sure about the read/write speeds of each brand, perhaps someone more knowledgable can add that extra info in ;)

  • Anyone deal with topbuy before, are they reliable and fast shipping?

    • kaikor, i have bought from them before, only once, but they are reliable. cannot remember how long it took to get my item.

i'm very tempted to buy one.

      • THX! just too tempted and has been desperately need a 16GB for a while, so just bought one for $34.95 all up and hope supplying my cc details is safe, coz i never ever trust doing that on the net, this is my ever first time …

        • kaikor, as teaearlgrey said below, topbuy is reputable and provide fast shipping so fear not :)

I have ordered lots of random things from them over the past 18 months.

Very reliable + prompt shipping + 5% cash-back via MBC.

      • what's this 5% cash back via MBC? what's MBC?

  • They appear to be older models which will have slower read/write speeds. http://www.kingston.com/flash/dt100.asp

Good price if you aren't in a hurry.

    • It looks exactly like one I have.
In case it helps anyone :4GB, 17MB/s read, but only 3.5MB/s write.

  • I was hoping to save on shipping by getting people at work to join in on a group purchase, but looks like they're $5 per stick no matter how many you buy. Still relatively good buy even with shipping though.

    • yep that what i found out, a few of my colleages want to buy too and hope to save postage, but nah … not this case … still ended up $5 per stick …

  • 16GB all gone …

Kingston USB, LOL. I bought one and it is so slow to write that my cheapo no name brand is 4x faster.
Currently I like my Corsair Flash Voyager and in particularly my Sandisk Cruzer (they are much faster).

  • 1) VERY SLOW
    2) They charge $5 per each USB for postage. I guess it's fair, since it works out same price as staticice but with free shipping..
