Canon MX926 Pixma Printer @ $95 after $50 Cashback (@ TheGoodGuys or OW Pricematch)

190

I was looking for a replacement printer which I could connect to my network, print on printable DVDs & Blu-Rays, and had seperate ink tanks and found this Multi-Function Printer at $198 at OfficeWorks and $249 at Dick Smiths.

I did a staticice search and found it going for $145 at Good Guys (online), which also showed $50 Cashback. I checked at Canon and this model does have a current $50 cashback on it (purchased before end of January, claimable before March). Good Guys delivery cost was $2 for me.

For those who are really after a deal you could pricematch at Office Works to get an extra %5 off.

For anyone looking for the cashback offer details:

    https://www.canon.com.au/en-AU/Personal/Products/Special-Off…

  • Comes down to $55 w/ the free $40 voucher,

  • Bought this planning to use it as pretty much a wifi scanner only. I can print at work if needed and the occasional job at home I have the cheap fuji laser printer for. Was going to sell off the included ink tanks, but it seems that it will not go through with the initial setup without them installed. Argh!

  • free $40 voucher? Where can I find it??

  • Can anyone comment on the scan quality? Both for documents and photos. I'm thinking to replace my cheapo HP printer/scanner with this one. Don't really need good quality prints - I can use the colour laser printer in the office.

  • Thanks OP. Purchased from Good Guys +$2 for metro delivery.
Officeworks is selling the model below this one (MX726) for $149. So to be able to buy the next model up for $50 less is a great buy.

  • How is setting up the wireless for the printer to a laptop?? is it simple enough? I've seen a couple comments around saying they had problems with it??

    • +1

It was very straight forward setting it up on our wifi. It automatically detected our network then I simply entered the password and it was done! For the laptop simply install the software that comes with it, select the printer from your list of printers and away you go.

  • Hi Guys check this promo $50 cash back for Laser multifunction wireless from Dell , I alway say Laser better than inkjet
