New phone plan mainly for data

Hi, so I am switching phone plans soon and I was looking for a plan mainly for data. I found the Woolworths $29 plan which was perfect however when I went to buy the sim I was told they no longer sell them. So what would be the closest thing to the Woolworths plan?

I think aldi is 2nd cheapest at 2.5GB for $35

    • Yeah I saw that but was hoping for a little more data

  • Amaysim 2.5GB for $19.90 (30 days) but it's at 1MB blocks. If you sign up under my referral, we both get $10 :p

  • Vaya , $33 = 10 gig data only if you have dual sim

  • Watch out for plans like the woolworths one, some of them don't let you use your phone to tether internet to other devices, which can be a main reason for getting a large data plan. (Mainly applies for iPhones only and is true for the woolworths plan).

    • The iphone is the problem, not the Woolworths plan.
      Tethering works with Android.
Not that it matters, because you can't buy woolworths sim anymore.

Boost 3GB $40 (unlimited calls/texts) I have my laptop tethered with it right now.

Yep I was about to suggest this. Runs on NextG network as well.

    • how do I get the 10GB for $30…I assume that is usable in a BYO unlocked pocket wifi modem? eg. BYO device for Voda SIM to go into for 10GB of 4G data? It is 4G speeds for that price? got a link to the voda site for what that 10GB for $30 is?

      • read the link

  • I was just about to recommend my current TPG plan which is $12.99/month (1GB data & $150 worth of calls) but they don't have anything close to it anymore. 1GB was too small for you anyway.
