While I was looking around for a $10 item to get the total up to $50 so I could get free shipping, they sold out online and so I had to choose Click & Collect.
Does anyone know how this works? Is the stock drawn from store stock or is it distributed like Online, just to a store rather than a customers address? Because if that's the case, I might be in for a wait!
I chose click and collect since it was under $50 and didn't get free delivery. You would've been prompted to choose a store to pick up from, then you'd get the order confirmation email and then another email saying they're ready to pick up from the store you chose.
I ordered at 10:45am and got the pick up email at 4:30pm.
Does this stack with the previous $50 Shoes voucher people got if they spent over $150?

Enter codes 'welcome' for $10 off and 'treatme5' for further $5. However, these two codes won't work if your total is below $50. For ex. the shoes I bought was listed for 101.97. I entered shoe50 first. That brings down shoes to 51.97. Than I enter welcome and ended up paying 41.97. Once total was 41.97 treatme5 wasn't working. I believe if you choose shoes above $115 all three codes should work.

Does anyone else here have a David Jones AMEX credit card or Storecard and DID NOT get free standard delivery? I had to pay $9.95 for standard delivery even though DJ card holders get complimentary standard delivery.
EDIT: Looks like they have not charged me for delivery although it's confusing as there is a charge of $9.95 next to delivery

shoe50 can only use 1 per customer. They track this by cookie so just clear your cookie and you can go again. I just did that and brought two pair. and even it is under $50 after discount I pay with am DJ Amex and got free delivery.

I got the same message, but then checked my AMEX and was charged. Then also recived an email from AMEX congratulating me for qualifying for the $50 statement credit
Bit late to the party for a reply but just thought I'd share that my debit card was also charged each time the inventory check failed (I tried 4-5 times). Called my bank to see why funds were being held from my account. Confirmed DJs had held the funds pending a reversal the next business day. Seems a bit rich to charge before the inventory has been confirmed only to reverse it when it fails. Tsk tsk tsk.

I got it after I spent $250. The wording on the email suggests it will come once you meet the $250 threshold.

Just got off the phone from the David Jones Online Customer Team. It appears there is a technical issue with the code at the moment. I was informed to place the order and then email the receipt back to the them, attention the consultant that I spoke to, who would refund me the $50 manually to my credit card. Fingers crossed this works.

Promotion is meant to end 24/12/2013 according to OP. It says invalid code for me. I tried deleting cookies too. Kicking myself for not ordering earlier, I hesitated and started doing something else.

The word is the code has been removed because it was advertised incorrectly and was supposed to apply to shoes over $150.

long expired. asked the DJs lady, and she said $50 off $100 purchase was a "computer glitch". i think people who got their online confirmation will get their purchase honoured.
They had a code called "shoe50." Doesn't sound like a "glitch", but perhaps a "we didn't realise we'd be Ozbargained on this one."
picked up my pair from sydney city store this morning. all good. a friend picked up another pair from bondi.
Looks like they are honoring the purchase up to a certain time, because i had ANOTHER mate who got a call from DJs customer service saying they are going to refund his purchase.
went on a bit on a frenzy yesterday, ordered 4 pairs, popped into the shop to pick them up, no questions asked.
