  • Delivery Costs?

I used false information, with Sydney as the destination, and received a delivery charge of $6.95.

  • Can anyone with some knowledge in this area comment on how good this router is? Would really just need it for general wireless stuff, using Internode Naked ADSL….Thanks!

A Google search on reviews shows many reports of it intermittently dropping wireless signal, and needing to be 're-set'.

I have my doubts that it is a modem.

The USA Belkin site shows it as a "Connect N150 Wireless Router".

The pictures on the ClubRetail site also show no socket for a telephone line. Only the socket for a "Modem" input, and four sockets for wired LAN outputs.

      • Thanks mate.

      • G'day - I updated the pictures. Thanks for the posting @Naga. It's definitely ADSL.

          G'day - I updated the pictures.

Thank you for acting so quickly on my report.

However, I do not understand your "Welcome to Club Retail" message that was included with your email response to my report. I did not join ClubRetail, nor give permission for any further promotions from you - so I hope i will not be receiving any further eMail messages.

      • The 3rd pic shows adsl phone line input marked 'adsl'.

      • Yep, +1 had one in the bedroom as a switch/AP. Wireless kept disappearing and had to power/cycle to get it back. Kept getting worse (shorter period between resets) so it's now just a cheap switch :/

          It does NOW.

I contacted the site and told them of my concerns.

They replied, and updated/changed the pictures they were using.

Yes, many of the reviews I read mentioned this problem.

Still, I guess it is cheap.

        • There's a reason for that… I've encountered a few of these in my work, not only does the wireless have issues, but the ethernet ports do some odd things as well, most notably giving the same symptoms as split-pairs, which also requires a power cycle.

          Interesting.

Do you think it is the chip(chip set) being used in this 'old' model - and in the latter model they changed the chip/chip set?

  • So the ethernet is 10/100 ?

  • What model number is this?

    • Belkin Connect N150 , its in the title

      • There's F7D1401AU and F9K1001AU.

Which one is it? That's my original question. Anyway, it really doesn't matter since they are both N150 and have same features as far as I know. I guess F7 is the old model, that's why it sells for more. The picture looks like it's the older model rather than the newer F9.

  • Nevermind.

  • My Belkin N150 got an USB port as well. ADSL performance is pretty average. TP-LINK is a better choice.

Hi All - it is the F7D1401 v1 :) I have added this info to our system it'll sync shortly. I can 100% confirm it is a Wireless ADSL(2) Modem Router, I just had it synced on our Internode at just under 20,000 kbps.

Thanks for confirming the model/version. The US and AU difference always confuses uninformed buyers. The AU models are modem/routers unlike the US counterparts.

      • +2

The model should have been there from the start, ditto the 100% correct pics. Thanks for your patience and kind words :) Myself and one other person do the listings so we've had a chat and will endeavor to work even harder to ensure maximum information and accuracy.

Anything y'all need to know, just ask we do frequent OzBargain a fair bit, so it's likely we'll spot the thread.

  • Well, review page such as http://usemyreviews.com/wireless-router-reviews-price-compar… will also help a lot, believe me.
