Probably not, WA franchise is owned by a different group than the eastern states. WA & SA are the same owners, whilst the rest are another bunch. You'll notice this when you log onto ikea.com.au, they split them up asking which state you are in.
A 20% kitchen sale plus this 16% discount would be a steal for an Ikea kitchen. Shame it's not in Melbourne :(

Won't work. WA/SA gift cards are only valid in those states. Still, if it's flat-packed, it might be worth getting your mate to purchase what you need over there and shipping it privately.
