Yeah right. Top quality exclusive in Australia cables with no proper shielding. I wonder if they are good. Thrown away several HDMI cables now due to some not continually transmitting. Then others get interference.

Bought a couple of cheepies myself. They have been serving me well for the past 2 years. No probs here.

Cheap HDMI cables work fine for shorter lengths. But as length increases, the signal drops substantially. So I would think twice before buying something cheap for lengths above 5m! Almost all cheap cables have high AWG rating (lesser better) and may not work with some devices (classic example is WDTV rejecting cheap ones)

You might notice following disclaimers in description by reputed eBay sellers!

1m and 2m in 30AWG (just passable if you're on a really tight budget and can accept occasional picture and sound dropouts caused by cheap screening) 1m, 2m,5m cables in 28AWG (these cables…they are good), and 1m,2m,5m,10,and 15m in 26AWG(even better…our Premium Range…the best!)

If you are purchasing an HDMI cable for use with WDTV, we highly recommend purchasing a different HDMI cable

        • According to sellers decription they use 28AWG, im assuming this is a good buy then?

          Premium Quality Cables
Unlike most of our competitors HDMI cables which use 30AWG conductors our premium cable uses 28AWG conductors which is actually thicker and more resilient. This ensures that the HD signals between your devices sustain that peak intensity and veracity levels we come to expect these days forcing minimal signal incongruity. Consequently this High Speed HDMI Ethernet Cable is 3D capable enabling it to transmit 3D, full high definition and ultra high definition signals.

        • Yup, it 'should' be fine if length is <5m. Worth taking the risk for the cheap price :)

    • I bet you recommend buying $300 Monster HDMI cables…

        I got a 5m one for $23 not $300.

  • needed a couple of cheap 2m cables

  • I received 3 cables from this seller today, 2X2M & 1X1M. No complaints with the quality.

    • great thanks for the feedback Shaun

  • Ordered 2. Thanks for the heads up!

  • Looks like price increased! 5m is now 7.99 (vs 6.99 in description)

  • Very quick delivery and good quality cables. But cheeky to bump up the price.

  • $8.99 now, how high will it go?

  • Prices seem to be back down, even cheaper than before.

5M showing up as $5.99 delivered now.

    • wow thanks for letting us know
