Agree with eug… It's not really a deal. Better radios can be picked up second hand for around that price.
Hi Eug,
To give you some more detail
TR Hirecom provide a 3 month warranty.
All radios are bench tested to Motorola’s specifications prior to shipping.
The frequency range is 450 to 527 MHz.
All radios are programmed to your requirements free of charge.
LS radios provide the ability to trunk the radios via a trunking system the same advantages apply with an ex-rental trunking type radios as there is with new in that same environment.
The Motorola radios sold by TR Hirecom are radios that come with a N44 Ctick approval supported by Motorola for use in Australia. This may not necessarily be the case when compared to what you have seen on eBay.The GP328s and GP338s I've bought on ebay are also ex-rental or ex-lease local C-ticked units. There isn't really a market for parallel-import GP328s as they aren't really in demand.
Don't forget, this is a bargains site. $209 each plus shipping is not really a bargain, it's just a decent price. What makes it worse is you only sell them in lots of 6.
Are the radios recased? New antenna and battery?
Hi eug,
All radios are bench tested before being sold. If there are any defects in the casing it will be replaced. The radios also come with an ex-rental battery and antenna.
If you have any more questions, please let us know, alternatively you can call our team to discuss further.
They look good but don't have anyone to talk to. How much for one?
What frequency range?
$209 each plus shipping isn't that great a bargain. That's roughly what used GP328s go for on ebay, sometimes less. Trunking isn't a big selling point for used radios.
