I adored this game on the 360 and was always keen to pick it up on PC for a second go, but I remember it was widely reported as being close to broken on AMD cards and the developer was axed before they ever got a chance to fix it (RIP Pandemic)

Anyone know if this is still the case? I mean I know $2.50 is a pretty low risk proposition, but giving EA and Origin money is painful enough without the game being unplayable on my rig :-/

I have played and finished the game in my AMD 6990. It does have teeny weeny bit of problem regarding texture loading in the city while driving at high speeds. Example…if you are in a really fast car, you might see parts of the road 400m ahead without any texture…but it loads within seconds.
But, I don't think my PC version has any patch installed.

TBH, there was nothing game breaking at all for me. Loved the game :)

  That's good enough for me I think, thanks! To be honest I kind of figured that the increased grunt of newer cards would've mitigated whatever poor coding/bugs caused the problems 3-4 years ago when the game came out!
