Weird question, but is it similar to BG3? I bought BG3 and got about 5 hours into it and never picked it back up.
BG3 is tabletop rpg. This is turn based action rpg.
On Game Pass for the PC folks.

The devs recommend using a controller even on PC. Having said that, it plays perfectly fine with mouse and keyboard. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
As always, if you have a powerful PC, get the PC version (it runs on Unreal 5, so works best with newer PCs) — it's also available on Game Pass.
Can't believe I bought this in my region and it was more expensive than Australia. Unbelievable

I’m not a huge fan of turn-based games either but the systems in the game actually look pretty good. And with the reviews as they are it’s probably not worth writing off because of that.
Bethesda really didn't need to rain on their parade so much 😅
