Psst this deal will get negged into oblivion by all the COTD haters.

    • +3

only after their servers crash like always ;)

      • +1

lol, or the pre-emptive negs on the assumption that the servers will crash… I learnt that lesson a while back when I posted an upcoming deal on COTD only to be negged into oblivion. I'm never posting a deal from there again! lol

        • you should post more COTD deals just to troll them ;)

    • +1

Only after th 1 copy of the games sells within 2minutes.
Wheres thers smoke theres fire and most ozbargainers havebeen burnt by cotd

  • +2

I wonder how much is shipping.

  • +10

    • +1

maybe 2, grabbed by internal staff before the sale starts.

It is very pleasant to see every store is doing BLACK FRIDAY mad sales, however the only thing upsets me is I can't see any kick-ass great deal at all.

  • +2

Just got back from their website with a bad case of epilepsy

  • +3

Catch of the day is the twin brother of Dick Smith in terms of stock availability.

  • Cadbury Advent Calendar 1cent

Given their reputation on delivery times I hope they expire after XMAS 2014

People can whinge as much as they like but the fun is in the chase! Sometimes there's some great deals, sometimes some not so great but the value and saving is what each person places on it. Nothing more.

    • +1

      Only for sad consumers.
I just want to actually get an item and at a cheap price not spend all day doing it and certainly wasting time on dodgy websites.

      • -1

Clearly Black Friday isn't for you. I personally have never had an issue with COTD.

        • +2

I guess you've never bought anything from them…

  • Catch of the Day lol

  • My white Havaianas broke the other day, could be a winner here

  • Just making sure that AEST = Brisbane time (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and not AEDT (Australian Eastern daylight savings time).

    • You're giving COTD more credit than they deserve. My guess it's meant to be AEDT as that would cover the majority of Eastern State inhabitants.

  • not a deal.

    • Agreed, this is NOT a deal. It's advertising.

    and…… its crashed

  • pfft, servers always crash and usually there is very limited quantity. not worth the hassle.

  • can't access the site ? page cannot be displayed :(

  • +1

don't worry, seems like the items in the black friday deal are basically the same as what was on sale already.
nothing i see that is really appealing.

    • Ghosts for $39 is pretty good.

    • ^ this ^

  • I got a copy of gta 5 and cod: ghosts for 360. will they work with multiplayer on my pal console?

    • +1

      Yes.

  • Certainly saving some money by not spending anything. Some prices for the games are good but don't need them really (for now).

  • Surprised its not out of stock already…$39 + $5 postage is pretty decent price

  • meh got my 1 cent chocolate and some others for xmas..oh and a Miami Heat snapback for my son….(grumbles to herself as she should have bought it when we were in the states this year)…..

  • grabbed some socks and a pack of eneloops, cheers OP

tempted with ghosts, but i'm trying to stay cod clean this gen

  • Works pretty good on the COTD app on my iPhone..:)

  • Android app worked fine on my old HTC. Ghosts for $44 delivered seems a good deal. Now to get the 7yr old away from the ps3..

  • I got AC4 for Xbox 360, Several shirts, jeans, and headphones for around $100 inc 5 bucks shipping.

    Im happy

How can they seriously call these deals?

It's the same prices they've had for weeks.

    Same Sony and Yamaha headphones.
    Same Duracell batteries.
    Same Samsung PCs.
    Same Kensington iPad cases.
    Same same same same same.

And in a few weeks time they'll have the same stuff at the same price but call it a "Technothon".

    Yawn.

the biggest deal is probably the $5 shipping cap :D
