Long time OzBargainer first time poster.

Possibly as part of their Black Friday Sale but via the Amazon Digital store you can buy GTA V for around $20 cheaper than anywhere else I have seen - $33.99 so just over 37AUD

YOU WILL NEED A USA PSN ACCOUNT - DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY

My Delivery address was in USA but code sent via email & I used an Oz AMEX card so that may have helped.

      If it's still the same as when I owned a PS3 it's just a case of creating a new user for the 2nd PSN account.

    If I get this I have to make a new US account?
    If so can I still play online with my friends in Australia?
    Edit: Also say I activate the game and download it with the US psn, will it appear when i Login to the Australian account

      Make US account to download game then switch back to AU account to play. You need to keep the US account on your PS3

        What downloadable content can be played on ps4? There were rumors of a ps4 release of gta 5. Will hold off in this version due to digital issues too. Thanks though

    I only logged into my US PSN to redeem code and download (17GB) most times my Oz PSN auto logs in

    Game is always there once in HDD

    PS the 24hr wait between registering & posting was a killer - thought someone else would notice!

    Just FYI: Not certain the issues remain but there were a few complaints regarding GTA V digital download performance (texture streaming/pop + stuttering).

    I've just purchased it, and ran into a bit of trouble. I used my Aussie AMEX and my parents' address in America as the billing address because it wouldn't accept my Aussie address. The purchase took several minutes to process, and I got this:

      I had this happen to me before in the past with games via Amazon. Just hold tight and you should be fine. If you go over 4 hrs I'd just contact Amazon via online chat.

      Got the email from Amazon after about an hour, and it worked out fine. Settling in for a 7 hour download now.

    Sony making digital PSN codes available on PSN is one of its best moves in a while. Its unfortunate that online play is behind a paywall; if it weren't the PS4 would be one of the most open mainstream console platforms

        I ordered anyway and my account got frozen. I checked with Live Chat and they said I need to verify some details and will unlock my account in 24 hours. I've purchased digital items before using this exact Amex but I did change my delivery address. Used to be a Pizza Hut in AZ and I switched to a Pizza Hut in DE for the no-tax benefit. Probably caused the red flag.
