Boronia (Vic) had maybe 10 or so left at 4pm at this price still.
For those still wanting a bargain, although with less alcohol:

Just a tad less. 0.5% vs 4.7%. So only 1/9th of the alcohol.
Birell is actually Classified as Alcohol Free.
Might as well pour a glass of water and add 50mls of full strength beer to it… Would taste about the same as Birell .

Local Dans definitely doesn't have the Oettinger special any more in-store. But scored some of the Warburn Shiraz and had some with dinner. Not a great wine, but good for $4.40 a bottle.

There is a reason Dan's has been selling it for $29 a slab for the last 12 months - not recommended!
I had a couple last night, they're not bad.. for $20.90 a slab they will be fine to leave in the fridge for the odd afternoon beer. Still a bargain.
Thanks OP, I dropped into Dans South Oakleigh today and they still had a tiny price card on the shelf showing the discounted price, but also had the overhead sign showing the normal price. I took a photo of it before I asked the sales dude, and he said no problems, it shouldn't be there but you can have it for the discounted price. Winnah!

I just went into the DM at Woolloongabba (Brisbane) and they have it for $20 still. I just picked it up a few minutes ago (3pm ish).
