Time for an amphetamine fix. NFS is on sale for the next 2 days. It scored 86 on Metacritic and was released 3 years ago, so it is probably worth it, but I have no idea how it compared to other games in the franchise.

Speed = methamphetamine (= happiness). Well, some people would dispute the happy part.
There was even a paper published in the Journey of Psychiatry & Neuroscience entitled " The need for speed: an update on methamphetamine addiction".
Pretty fun game. Its an arcade car game though so dont expect any realism. Graphics are nice and multiplayer with some friends is fun too. Definitely worth 5 bucks.
Yeah well worth the 5 bucks, this and Shift are my two favourites in the franchise (that I have played)
Brilliant game. NFS Most Wanted is also worth buying when it sells cheap lately (around $10). Criterion racing games are the bet arcade racers out there.
This is fantastic price. Well worth the money for probably the best NFS & I have played them all, even the original Hot Pursuit. The graphics are still pretty damn good for 3 year old game. The latest NFS Rivals is like this, but with newer cars, and even better graphics.
I actually don't think this is 'arcade-y' driving game, to me it's pretty realistic (not Gran Turismo realistic but pretty good) car physics, each car feels a little different, damage look spectacular & real and affects engine output too.
Favorite is a convertible, you can see the driver (yourself) with sunnies and twig arms leaning left and right with the corners.
Well I'm glad others think this is a deal & a good game, been in my wishlist for quite some time now :)
