This looks like quite a good toy from Aldi. Imaginarium and Thomas want stupid amounts of money for their train tables ($400 and up). Prolly better to get this unit as the little springs cant tell the difference.

Google 'Thomas tank engine face', glue the characters faces on, look for a fat controller figurine from eBay or local toy store and your kids are sure to second guess themselves before complaining that its not a genuine set!
Kids are always smarter than you think they are. So you might not be able to keep this ruse going for long.
Wish the one they sold last time had a drawer to keep everything in. I'm forever kicking and picking up pieces from around the house.
