1/Buy untrendy jorts for $20
2/Cut the hems off along/parallel to(/well above if you want to shorten) the hems on the legs.
3/Wash 3 x cutting off the white stringy bits each time
(naturally ozbarganiers will wear them between washes 2 & 3)4/Wear the now incredibly cool shorts (and fight off the babes)
5/Search ozbargain for a trendy "beater" to spoil the look.
(this method can be used to get extra wear out of jeans)
