Clickfree Traveler 16GB Automatic USB Backup Device - $8 (Pickup Underwood QLD or Add Shipping)

40

Literally only just saw this posted on Gumtree but then hunted it down on the companies website as per the link so I think it's a fresh deal as I've never seen it before.

Seems to be designed as a fully automatic backup solution so I'm not sure if you can use this as a standard USB drive. Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIxQe8Y78yM

Might be handy for someone?! Limited stock so jump in if you think it's for you.

  • I originally thought (hoped) it was an easy way to backup data when you were travelling - ie. dump all the photos on your SD card or whatever

It is a standard USB drive. It just comes preloaded with Clickfree backup software set to autoplay when inserted.

    • Thanks Kamoi. I didn't have time to research it TBH.

  • What's the postage?

We've seen this before, didn't seem to be too popular at the time.

    • Oh yeah. Bugger. Thanks Jorkus. I searched for 'Traveler' but couldn't find anything here so I posted it.

Oh well, ignore this deal then as I suppose it isn't really a deal afterall.

You can get a further 50% off by using 'starcom50' coupon code during checkout at www.123done.com.au, limit 2 per customer.

  • It shows when I do the checkout on 123done:
We offer coupon codes and/or deals at least once a month.

    • To apply coupon,
1./ add the item into the cart
2./ click on the Shopping Cart, then click on "view cart".
      3./ select Use Coupon Code,
4./ Type in coupon code and click "Apply"

  • is it USB 2 ??

    • Yes, according to the previous post.

  • USB 2.0 for sure.
And they're no combine shipping for 2.

I would recommend just buying a standard USB when a sale is on, and just install some freeware which does the same thing (lots out there). It would be cheaper and smaller.
