      They told me in the next 1-2 days emails will come out with updates and vouchers (this was what the call centre told me).

      …And of course, the "refunds will be paid by the end of next week" was a line they've used before too. All orders were supposed to be sent out & refunds processed by last Friday, as per that first bulk email they sent.

      Why don't they just come clean and say "the cheque's in the mail"? :-p

    I received an email saying 2 of 4 games have been dispatched….main games I wanted though (luigi being the big one) are still on back order. Now to just hope they actually arrive, and are not scratched up second hand copies :/

      I checked my Chrissy Credit voucher and it didn't work either (tested it on a fridge to be sure). Have they cancelled these vouchers? Just another kick in the guts.

      There's an uncharted 3 sitting on the shelf for sale at Tuggeranong store. It's also one that I ordered, but I couldn't be bothered hassling them! I also just got a refund via email, and no, I didn't ask for it! Spoke 2 days ago and they asked are you prepared to wait as they are on backorder..I'm like yep.
      Ask the same question to 5 different employees, and you'll get 5 different answers…TGG SUCK

    Just got an email confirming that they cannot fulfill my Pokemon SoulSilver game. It also said my refund should be processed within the next five days, and that a $40 gift card will be emailed to me later this week.

    Disappointed that I didn't get SS, but happy that there seems to finally be some progress. Hopefully I get the gift card soon so I can put it towards a Wii Remote and Nunchuk; my local TGG store still had a couple in stock last week.

        I just got another email from them, pretty much the same but I won't be getting SS or HG. So each email should be for each order made. Getting $80 bucks credit isn't to bad i guess.

      Watty I made two separate orders and received two separate emails…I got 1/5 games from one, and 4/11 from the other if that helps. Only the smaller order has been paypal refunded though so far.

      I did via mobile website since the main site was dragged down. I managed to get 3 or 4 out of 6. Emails contradict each other, so definitely 3 but possibly 4. Just waiting to find out, can't be bothered calling to confirm. Just 3DS games, so that worked in my favour by the seems.

    Just received the "final" email. I only ordered Luigi and they say they have been unable to source it. So I get a refund and a $40 gift card emailed to me later in the week. Not happy as I can walk in to almost any other games shop and buy Luigi. Interested to hear if anyone at all got Luigi.

      You could use the $40 gift card on regular purchases at TGG and use the savings to get it for $2.46 from Video Ezy if you wanted to. Last couple of orders were 3 day delivery from them if it wasn't on backorder.

    I just received an email from TGG in stark contrast to the email I received last week claiming that I will recieve none of my games and that they can not possibly be sourced from the supplier and that my refund will be processed automatically. Part of my order was Pokemon White and Pokemon White 2, both of which, according to the original email, can definitely be sourced. Mod: Foul Language

    All these automatic refunds when they've taken your money with no stock allocation and no ones stated they're going to the ACC or Dept of Fair Trading yet. Maddness. What they've done is illegal and as long as it's possible for you to purchase any of those games new anywhere so are they. Other stores have had to go to their competitors to purchase Items they sold when they "had stock" and yet they won't. Yes it will be expensive for them. Yes it will be a loss for them too but these laws are put in place to protect consumers from this kind of thing from happening. Don't just accept what result they've given you fight back these are your consumer rights and if you don't stand for them they won't be there for you much longer.

        I guess it depends how many games you got. That aside I doubt Luigi u or any of the Wiiu titles that aren't being fulfilled can't be sourced they are way too new. By not using your rights you are telling them that it's okay to hold your money for indefinite periods of time with no specific communication as to whats going on with your order. Is that how you would like orders to work in the future? Some of us have even seen the titles that are "out of stock" on the shelves at our local stores do you find this acceptable?

        Yes 842 million people are starving in this world. It is terrible but please keep in mind you are reading about deals and bargains while those people are starving. The starving people have nothing to do with this discussion or our consumer rights. Bringing them up does nothing to further this discussion or resolve the issues in this thread.

        From what I've read, a business is not allowed to take payment without having the stock to be able to fulfill that order.

        So they weren't allowed to take so many orders, especially when they had virtually no stock or ability to source those products in a reasonable time (or at all).

          The problem is that the resolution is to refund (basically). If you want punishment, make complaints to the ACCC or your state's consumer protection agency.

    My interest will now be if they ever get the games listed in this sale back in stock in future…will be a bad move by them if they do I imagine!

      Think it depends on the store's stock. I ordered past midday (I was originally gonna order earlier till I learned there was HG/SS), and mine are coming. But honestly, that generic email saying that those specific NDS & 3DS titles would all be delivered was chock full of shit.

      TGG should not have sent that.
