    Is there a coupon code?

  • Haven't received the one I ordered from last month's deal yet :(

I thought they shipped faster than DealExtreme. No?

    • Likely many have received but others, including myself, haven't. Ordered around 10th Oct. Here's the link to the previous deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/119124

      • go to paypal/email them about it?

      • My last lot came from them in less than 10d. Email them. They've always gotten back to me (well, at least several times).

who has used these torches before?

I have one of these. This is a great torch for the price, very bright even with the AA battery.

I have two, one stays in the car, one next to the bed, for the price and ease of use (standard battery) they're very useful.

        • How long does it last with a standard alkaline AA battery (eg. duracell or energizer)?

        • I use Aldi-rechargables, and do not notice that they chew batteries unless I'm using it for long periods at a time.

  • You can blame me for this ;)

I ordered 100 of them from BangGood a few weeks ago - for a social group Xmas (for the kids). I mentioned ozbargain as that's where I first found BangGood.

    Summary:
    . All torches arrived working
. Almost all were in good/great condition
. BangGood seem to be fine about resolving the few torches with "sharps" that I was not happy about
. Torches are an excellent combination of weight, ruggedness, brightness and efficiency

I dealt with BangGood rather than some other sellers because I have dealt with them before. I did see them cheaper on Amazon, but I wanted colour torches that I got for US3.99 ea.

Re: battery life. Using standard alkaline, I would guess 1-2 hours, but I didn't specifically time them. I've been using the Dick Smith batteries from ozbargain about a year ago.
