I was surfing around for a brand new graphics card that was cheap and powerful, and found a GTX 680 4GB Model for $369 + Shipping. It's not the best deal but is great for a card that still is so powerful if you oc it!!

that one is only 2GB RAM
Mah bad.
Fixed the URL to PCCG.
its a good price for a gtx 680 but i much prefer the previous deal for the evga 4gb with backplate.
I'd stick to HD7970 slightly cheaper too
http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-HD-7970-vs-Leadtek-GeForce-GT…Agreed. When there's deals like this popping up quite frequently now, one of the O/C 7970 is much better bang for buck
Wow - i'm concerned about what you'd defined as "cheap." Not ranting or anything, but to me in my opinion ~$350 for gfx isn't cheap.
Oh sorry, it's just that I've been looking to upgrade for a long time now and felt that a GTX 680 4GB (4GB!!!) for $369 is quite reasonable. Once again, it is not the best deal but a fair one in my humble opinion :)
$100 cheaper than when I bought mine a year ago, it's a good card capable of running BF4 on High-Ultra settings.
I guess youve got the risk of it being second hand, but I've owned a 680 (2gb reference) for years. At only $400 it has worked out well. Second hand market is good.
I can't fathom how any retailer that still has stock of these can justify charging more than $330 for a GTX 680.
A GTX 770 can be had for just $10 dollars more than this deal; latest generation card, identical-if-not-superior performance:
http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=gtx%20770&s…And this is a completely stock, reference cooler with stock clock speeds and most likely a reference PCB/PWM design with very little potential for OC'ing.
Completely agree with this, the GTX770 is just a better card for like a negligible amount more.
that 770 is 2GB only, which may be limiting above 1080p, but otherwise ok and with a vastly superior cooler.
The 680 4GB (or even the 770 as it's just an o/c 680) is unlikely to be able to push enough fps at higher resolution/multiple monitors by itself to use 4GB, so SLI would probably be best.
It's a good price though, a few weeks ago, these were $450.
If you're looking to push above 1080p or for multiple monitors, you probably should step up to a R9 290 or a GTX 780, both of which are at really good prices now (i.e. below $600).
At 1080p, you won't need that 4GB frame buffer.
I got neg'd for stating facts and saying 680 is a good price, how does that work?!
that 770 is only 2GB - fact
2GB could be limiting above 1080p - fact
770 is o/c 680 - fact
neither 680 or 770 could push enough fps above 1080p to utilise 4GB - fact
using these 2 cards above 1080p, SLI would be best - fact
it's a good price for the 680 as they were $450 - fact2 neg votes for these facts, bizzare.
people neg all the time dont take it personally.
I got negged for saying thanks, and Purchased. After someone posted a deal lol
How can you be shopping around when you work for PCCG….
Confused
