I ordered the Huawei Ascend G526 Phone at Dick Smith on the 6th of November (at night) using this thread:

On the 8th (Friday) I called to ask Dick Smith when they can deliver it and they said they will get some stock on the same day and will deliver it on Monday. When I called them again on Monday, they said there are more than 180 in back order. So they are unable to get any in stock in the future and told me to cancel the order and they'll refund the money but I didn't agree.
I called Fair Trading and they said that if I've already paid and gotten the invoice, Dick Smith should perform this contract. Dick Smith can only cancel the order if I agree to cancel, if they don't then they have broken the contract. Fair Trading then told me to lodge a complaint.
That night, I received an email from Dick Smith saying that I have requested a cancellation but I never asked to cancel the order.
Has anyone else received the email saying that they have cancelled the order or received the phone from Dick Smith?
I have a phone on order at a local store and have not heard anything from then.
Even if they have "180" on back order I would find it surprising they can't get more from Vodafone.
