    Checked on Amazon.co.uk -> it's 0.49 pence - I don't think I can get it sent to my kindle. Get a message to go to the amazon.com website.

    I'm registered with a US address on Amazon.com. The price is $14 and $16 for the books.

  Both books have gone back up to $30+
  So this deal is expired, it would appear.
  Unless the OP is viewing Amazon with a US address on his account, which may explain it.

  I don't have Amazon Prime and don't have a US address on my account. I found them listed on hotukdeals for £0.49ea. Clicked through to Amazon UK to see them at £0.49 but then opened a new window and went into Amazon.com to search for them. They came up as $0.78 so I purchased both of them and my order confirmation is shown in an earlier post. They've downloaded to my kindle but I've not had confirmation of my order via e-mail and the order status is showing as pending.

  E-mail confirmation has come through at $0.78 a book. Also grabbed Rick Stein's 'Under a Mackerel Sky' autobiography for the same price.

  Then opened up the Amazon.com link and searched for the book, and found it listed for $14.24 US.

  You got lucky, before they realised, and changed the price for the US..
