WARNING: Amazon for some reason is excluding this card from the free game promo even though the 770 version and all other 700 series gtx's they sell include it. I contacted customer service and they didn't even read my information just sent me a generic response saying they are sorry instead of looking into it. I'm convinced that someone just made a mistake on their product page. Shipping was fast, but I don't recommend buying this particular card from Amazon until they add the promo (which NVIDIA and ASUS both advertise and Amazon supports with all other models).

    Review of the card

Looks about 20% faster than a 680 with more ram
I prefer to get another 680 for $350 for Sli
But if you are gaming over 1080p res you would want at least 3gb ram

    Amazing deal

    • 670 SLI copes pretty well at 2560x1600 with 4xAA
      Bench

In fact, it beats the 780 based on this review

Good deal though OP - It would be worth sacrificing a little grunt now to sli 780 down the track :D

  • its weird the game promotion was listed on the page…

  • How do you get $543 USD?

When I got to the purchase screen the total was $598 AUD which doesn't work out?? :(

    • +1

Change the currency at the check out to US$ & you'll find $598 AUD = $543 USD
      Nice find OP.

  • +1

It's about 30% faster in benchmarks on average than a Nvidia 670, + has an extra 1GB of VRAM. Worth it? Probably only for people with really large monitors or who need to run games at 8xAA, or games with super high resolution textures (4K).

    • thanks mate.

going off that advice.. i've decided to keep my current 670OC card and track down a second hand one for SLI.

    • Good advice.
Best you can do is to look at the reviews & compare card's performance at the the resolution YOU use & the games YOU play.
I've updated my 4yo graphic card few months ago & went for GTX770 4GB.
I play FPS games on 24" monitor & this card is more then adequate, best bang-for-the-bucks(at the time).
GTX780 at the time was $300+ more expensive & would offer very little gain over GTX770
