Y FEET DESIGNQUAD STAND Y FEET DESIGN: The UA75F6400 has this truly stylish design that is inspired by nature, the clean and clear design of the LED TV lends just the right look that your living room needs. This discreet stand gives it a natural, yet elegant flair.

DUAL CORE PROCESSOR: Powered by Quick Dual Core Dual Core Processorprocessing speeds the UA75F6400 makes using the Smart Hub so fast and easy while allowing you to perform multiple tasks at the same time, such as using an app while downloading another one. It also enables faster web browsing while playing apps or TV programs.

MICRO DIMMING: UA75F6400 has advanced picture contrast technology controls analyzing every frame that's displayed and uses a sophisticated algorithm to adjust LED edge lights for contrast levels that that produce brightness and clarity in virtually every detail.

CLEAR MOTION RATE 400: Fine, detailed images are underpinned by Clear Motion Rate (CMR) 400 in the UA75F6400 complemented by a 100Hz refresh rate. TVs with this CMR can display action-packed movement with sharpness, clarity and contrast. Clear Motion Rate was developed to accurately measure how well an LCD or LED TV can depict fast-moving images. Previously, motion-clarity was calculated by the frame refresh rate alone. But CMR offers a more complete measure by calculating 3 factors: frame refresh rate, image processor speed and backlight technology.

Active 3DACTIVE SHUTTER FULL-HD 3D: Immerse yourself in the third dimension of entertainment with 3D on the UA75F6400 Smart TV. Active shutter technology uses glasses that sync themselves to the TV and allow you to enjoy an exceptional image in the third dimension, while this Samsung 3D TV can do the miraculous, using the clever 3D Converter feature to turn regular 2D content into 3D. So even if you don’t have a huge collection of 3D media, you can still enjoy pictures that jump right out of the screen. (To watch in 3D requires 3D glasses. Two pairs of 3D glasses included with purchase.)

You can also log into your personalised Smart Hub panels with Facial Recognition, navigate your options with a flipping motion, then use a simple grabbing motion to select the apps and other content you want when you add the optional camera.

S-Recommendation hubS-RECOMMENDATION: Tired of flicking through the old EPG? Visit the S-Recommendation hub to find new things to watch. Not only will navigating be easier than the old EPG, but your TV makes Suggestions based on your previous viewing habits and, over time, S Recommendation learns and evolves with your preferences, helping to ensure you can always find what you like, as well as discover new favourites.

    Cheaper elsewhere…….example: $4,399.00 http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/auburn/tv-dvd-players/samsung…

  • Yum; can't wait to upgrade from my 64" :)

  • Nice price $5289.99 at Costco docklands.

Who has the best price beat to try to get cheaper?

    • Make that 4899 at Costco Docklands

Good price, they need to get away from active and do big screen passive though. I've got an active 59" samsung 3d and it never gets used, the glasses are too expensive and it's takes the enjoyment out of viewing by having cumbersome glasses that are uncomfortable.

This price point, ~80" and passive tv and I'll be upgrading.

    • Agree. Sony has gone away from active. Hopefully sharp and samsung follow.

At this price your better off with a 1080p projector.

Not really, people don't want to adjust lighting levels.

I have to agree with Diji1 - I have a Sanyo 1080p projector mounted to my lounge ceiling and used to watch it every night (for TV and movies).

However after upgrading to 60" and then 70" TV's I stopped using the projector as while the TV image is smaller than my 120" PJ screen there will always be so much more detail (in darker objects, and especially darker scenes).

The exception would be if I was watching a children's animated movie (Finding Nemo etc) which have almost no dark scenes, or if I had a dedicated home theater room with dark grey walls/ceilings and a Firehawk grey screen.

Id guess that 90-95% of homes do not have a dedicated dark scheme home theater room, and so the big image of a projector is always going to be a sacrifice of image quality.

      • I cant agree with you more. My bro has one of the LG lazer projector at his place and although that 100 inches beats absolutely shit out of my Sammy LED in term of size, I just hate it when I have to close the curtains every time I want to watch a movie. His girlfriend is also not happy. Proof that size not always the first priority for women
