Sleeping Dogs is not dissimilar to say GTA 4.

It's a little short, but I greatly enjoyed playing it.

There is quite a lot of hand to hand combat, as well as the usual guns/cars/boats/choppers stuff.

All in all, a good 15+ hours of play…

Now only $5 USD from Amazon.

Can we get platform and the fact that it's a digital version (because its amazon who also sell physical copies) in the title please?

    • I agree with platform (my bad) but why do you need to know if digital or not??

      • Yeah, I think he means "digital download", as in "not on a disc".

        • I agree. But why do you care?

I hate getting discs these days - just take up space…

Is it $5 on steam too with needing to go through amazon http://store.steampowered.com/app/202170/

    • You can get Moneybackco and whatever via Amazon. Not via Steam?

    • Wow that's a lot of DLC. Can anyone comment on whether it's worth getting?

      • Nightmare in North Point, Zodiac Tournament, and year of the snake are the ones that add new missions (aka the only ones worth getting,) the rest are just outfits and weapons I think.

  • prefer this game to GTA aeries purely on the basis of the hand to hand combat.

You're right though, too darn short

    • I played it through twice, I thought it was really good.
Very under-rated. Also, Square-Enix are still in the red for it :(

  • i have a few games on my computer I've yet to play. Should I buy Sleeping Dogs now while it's on sale or should I wait till I'm done with my existing games? Will Sleeping Dogs be likely to be on sale for cheaper in the (near) future?

    • You might see it included in some bundles coming up to Christmas (I got my copy in one with Tomb Raider and Hitman: Absolution - have yet to install it), but I doubt it'll get a great deal cheaper on its own.
