  • Not a bad deal
I have ordered one from B&H website in US and I paid around $484 include delivery (UPS)
but with $495 and having an australia stock, I think it worth to get one!

Ugh, atom and low res display..just kidding, the keyboard being included and the copy of Office make this solid value imo

    • You have no idea how is the new Atom Bay Trail perform, it is a Quad Core CPU. The resolution is just like most laptop nowadays.

I reckon Intel should not call it Atom because of the poor impression from old netbook.

given the reception to previous laptop deals on ozb not sure if saying 1366x768 is just like most laptop nowadays gonna cut it :/

although on a 10.1 inch tablet/laptop can't imagine why would you want FHD (particularly on the "desktop"), would probably hurt my eyes straining..

        • Windows 8.1 can do better screen scaling on the desktop.

        • +2

No matter who neg it, please next time google it carefully before you do that. Although the screen scaling may be do a very good job.

Screen scaling is a new feature with 8.1

          http://winsupersite.com/windows-8/hands-windows-81-desktop-d…

Also regarding Bay Trail of course it cannot compare with the i5, i7 but as a tablet it did a good job.

  • double posted.

    • double posted what? :)

    Hmm…according to their christmas catalogue
    http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/view/christmascatalogue201…

You can actually get $50 off if you buy something else. e.g. $11 wireless usb adapter.
You'll ended up with $495 + $11 - $50 = $456 (plus delivery) which is way cheaper than everywhere else

    • It said $50 off when spend over $350, and $80 off when spend over $600. But how do you get that $50 off? I tried check out but the total is still the same.

      • it's applying the discount for me but only the smaller one ie. $30. even though my order is $500 total. I've got the tablet and a $5 network cable. I've emailed them to see what they say

If anyone can find anything cheaper on their site than $5 im all ears

      • +1

You can only get the $50 off if you get 2 items from the catalogue (not just any random 2 items)
If you add the tablet and the wireless usb adapter to cart, you'll get the $50 discount automatically

        • Ahh i see. thanks for that. now I'm on the fence. $6 gets you pretty far in the ozbargain world

Also you can use the 'WELCOME' coupon code on top of the discount to get $10 off if you create a new account

        • +1

Yeah, just tried $456.05 will get you the T100 & USB Adapter TL-WN725N delivered to Sydney.

Good deal finally price close to US announced price.

Since when do Atom Tablets come with MS Office that is anything but the preinstalled version that needs a key anyway? I'm suspicious about the fact that it has a '…' also. Can anyone confirm if this is actually included? If so this is probably better than the Dick Smith deal on the TF810c from the other week, as long as you can live with the 10.1"

    • +1

It's the Home and Student edition, quite a few sources imply

    • +2

all windows 8.1 bay trail tablets from various manufacturers have been officially anounced to include office

encylopedia googletanica would tell you in a few seconds

  • -3

as ive said a few times, ASUS WHY YOU NO INCLUDE STYLUS

    • +4

Because adding a digitizer layer costs a fair bit of money, and this is a super budget product?

It's not just a plastic stick

      • -5

        yes i know

but i would happily pay more for it

        whatever happened to OPTIONS

    • The TF810C the other day does come with a stylus. Though I dont know what it supposes to use for.

      • trust me navigating a tablet is much easier witha stylus
also you can use it with one note for a fantastic scribing experience

        also use it to draw?

chrome and firefox are not touch friendly

  • Out of stock

  • Good review of it here from Mobile Tech Review. Except for the build issues, it doesn't seem like a terrible experience, especially given the price, but I think I'll give it a miss.

    • you've already missed :) since it's out of stock

      • Yeah… I was talking more about the product as a whole, rather than this specific deal, but anyway.

  • I grabbed one for $481 from Officeworks as a price match. Nice product, selling my 2013 Macbook Air and using this instead to free up some cash.

    • :O how is it? curious to see the performance, although most likely gonna go with Surface Pro 2

      • Because OW will match any price even online but have to be com.au site. They will add delivery cost before the match.

Check out review on youtube not bad for that price but of course the build quality could not compare with Surface Pro 2 but we are talking double the price.

        • i stopped visiting OW for pricematch as pretty much every shops are rejected for one reason or another. MSY, Centrecom, Scortech etc.. I totally given up now. One day someone must bring OW to the ACCC because of their pricematch policy

    • How much for your Macbook?

  • ALmost bought this a week ago at Computer Alliance for $595. This is a good price and performance is very comparable to a i3-3317U ULV as I was planning on replacing a UX21E with this.

However in saying that… reason for price drop is because ASUS is re-releasing this a 500GB dock option which can't be bought seperately…. and Z3770 tablets are on the way

  • OZBARGAINED anyway:

"Sorry. We don't have enough 'H100TA-DK004H' in stock to fulfill your order. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart to a lower number and click update. Then try to checkout again."

  • Guys. How is this laptop compare with the ike of http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Lap…

    • T100 is better, Quad Core Atom CPU, convertible Tablet, completely difference thing. That one is only a traditional laptop.

    • sigh I was just typing a long-ish reply as to why this is better, but lost it.

Pretty much everything about this is better (display, CPU, storage (in terms of speed, not size)), though there might be some cases of inferior build quality in the keyboard, since it's more of an included accessory with the tablet rather than the necessity it is with the notebook. It also includes Office.

  • thanks guys. I need to get a new laptop for my mom. this one is just within my budget.

  • Expired .. price back to $595.
