That really depends on how far away you plan to sit.
Generally speaking 42" is going to be too large and the pixel density (1080p) too low to use it like a monitor.
wow

very value
much tv
wow
Oh wow, i thought I was on top of all the latest memes. Apparently not. Though to be honest I still don't get dolan, so maybe I'm just getting old :/

good things come to those who wait
I wouldn't call a Kogan TV a good thing it's not exactly good quality. Now the Panasonic 32" LED tv i just bought from Dick Smith is better quality but it's a smaller 32" but i'd rather quality over size. Alright for a bedroom. This Kogan TV i wouldn't give it 2 years before it breaks down. And there's also warranty to think of. How good is Kogan with warranty conditions not so good i'd say.
I would say they are good quality. I've had a Kogan TV for over 3 years (back when they were selling them on eBay) and it's worked faultless for me.
WoulD this be good enough for gaming?
Depends on how fussy you are and like joshk said above, how close you're going to sit. If you're imagining monitor-like display you'll be disappointed
Hi guys.. i didn't find the free shipping? kogan charging 30 buck for shipping …..
would a cheap LED TV like this be good enough as a PC monitor? I saw a smaller LED TV at dicksmith and was wondering about this….
