Hey Rep, at least give us a real bargain … can buy these for USD $3.18 on Ebay:

    • Hi,actually when you select the color,it will show higher price, the ebay always use this way,and also I believe that it's different quality.

      • Hi, actually when you select 'dark blue' colour it shows $3.18 or if you look at the second link 'Yellow colour' it's also $3.18 and I also believe it's exactly the same item.

Hi,perhaps you are right, somethings we can even find more ridiculous price on ebay.haha
We can send this one to you for free, and you buy one from the ebay store, then you compare it,it's a interesting game, what do you think?

        • I am game :D

        • No game, nor am I asking or expecting anything for free.

          What do I think?
If I can find what appears to be an identical item cheaper elsewhere (with minimal/no effort) then the deal is NOT a Bargain… so back to my first post: "at least give us a real bargain".

Pretty hard to satisfy - he has even offered you a free unit to compare in order to see if they really are the same. I think game is just poor translation - just means would be fun to find out.

They look similar for sure, but the dimension specs are different, and just about everyone knows that LEDS vary immensely in brightness and efficiency as do LED drivers, and build quality

You have no evidence to say that they are the same, the rep says he thinks they are not, the specs for the unit's bodies are different, slightly, but enough to matter, and the rep has even offered his unit up for testing to show it

might just be a different unit?

If you want rep, I will take you up on it :)
These guys can tell me which one to but at 3.20 or under and i will compare its brightness, beam width and battery life with yours. Will have to use my camera on manual but it should give meaningful results.

In my experience you guys happily own up to your mistakes (yes I have been hit by some) so I am inclined to believe you

You were that committed to customer satisfaction that when you found out you had been ripped off by a supplier who claimed car DVRs were 1080p but they were 720p, you wore the entire cost of the unit and shipping and just said keep it, and updated your page to show the real specs. Hard to fault that.

I've purchased these from K-Mart for $2. That was 2 months ago tho.

    • What makes you think it is the same unit, since they also sell another for $10 that also looks the same.
The basic shell doesn't tell you what is inside and LED quality varies DRAMATICALLY

banggood is not as good as they use to be e.g. slow delivery, frequently cancelling orders, no stock, …

  • Base on the voltage I assume it takes 3 AAA which I believe is more informative than 4.5V. I believe you have to remove 3 screws to replace the battery. Too hard work there mate.

    • Yeah but how often do you replace the batteries, every couple of years?

  • the only problem with banggood is they are very slow postage, but there products are ok.also you can contact them easily.

aren't these things that price in kmart?

  • +1

Yes and Kmart ones take AA batteries.

  • I took a chance and bought one of these from Banggood a couple of months ago (arrived a couple of weeks ago) and it's rubbish.

The configuration of the LEDs sends all the light straight out with no flood.

Freshly charged Eneloops only lasted a few hours before the output was unusable.

I have been your guinea pig, don't waste your money.

    • Hi,sorry to hear that, have you contacted our customer service?I think they will offer you a satisfied solution.

      • Haven't contacted customer service but I'll get on to it. Don't think I got a faulty product though, it's just poorly designed.

I took a chance. It's crap. I won't loose any sleep. No need for anyone else here to spend any money on one.

I'm in Sydney, if anyone wants mine you're welcome to it. NO FREE POSTAGE :)

        • Was it bright while it was running? That would be commensurate with higher power LEDS, which would of course us up batteries quickly.
If it WAS nice and bright it sounds great - most of these do get agest out of batteries but just don't give enough light for my taste. don't need a massive beam, standard 30 deg LED is fine. Just something that is easier to mount somewhere than my 300-900Lumen torches, which also make short work of even the lithium batteries i use in em, but its worth it, headlight in your hand lol.
Also use EDs all over the house - dont saave that much poer over CFL but by god there is a lot of light

        • Yeah, fairly bright. It's basically just a 24 LED torch. If you think that would suit your needs then you can have mine.

This is advertised as a work light, I bought it for a work light and it doesn't function as a work light. It's listed in their camping and hiking section and that's where I was hoping this could be useful. It's not.

If someone out there is after a torch with a hook and is happy to change batteries regularly then this will be great.

        • Would love it (need one for my 'new' (25yo) car, only have 1 for my fiancee's) but probably cost it more to post it in Australia than have them ship one. I emailed Aaron on another matter and he told me this morning that with shipping they are actually losing money on this deal. Bit sad with all the flak.
If you want to post it I would love it I suppose would be the short of it, on a pension $3 you don't have to spend is half way to a meal your amazing carer does not need to cook for you lol. I love her so much. Inbox me if you are doing it because you dont want to see it go to waste or something and I will give you my addy, but dont worry too much, i dont expect you to lose money 2ce on it, only if you want to.

        • Champ! I think you started drinking too early on a Saturday arvo.

If you want my light/torch for free you can have it but I'm not spending any more money to get it to you. That's it!

If you're implying that I'm on a pension because I can write in Engelish then…umm…like…just sayin…

          edit - just looked up 2ce (C12H19NO2) and I really hope you're not a 12YO Heisenburg or I'm f*cked

edit2 - my wife just laughed at me and showed me what you kids mean with 2ce…maybe you should be paying my pension…just sayin

  • $2 each at kmart :)
