New Nexus 10 coming soon is my first thought.. rumoured to be released/announced end of the month.
I don't think this would perform any better than the current Nexus (and especially not the upcoming model) and at least with a Nexus you get regular software updates.

I have a TF700T and it's performance is atrocious. Beautiful in every other respect, but anyone planning on getting one should expect performance to be clunky. The cause is a very slow flash i/o controller and well known.

That being said, a very good price for the TF700T but since it's introduction more 10" tablets have been released. Good spotting OP.

Also, I've found the battery to be on the low side for a 10" tablet. I guess the intention was the battery in the keyboard would assist, but I find I generally avoid using the keyboard as I like to have my TF700T well cased and my preferred cases aren't compatible with the keyboard.
