New 'say cheese' meal (equivalent to Jack's stunner meal)- Cheeseburger, Med fries, Med drink and choice of either regular sundae or an apple pie for $5.
Pretty decent value, considering it's medium sized

This started life as the $1 meal a long while back.
Inflation is a terrible thing. When I was a kid I paid for this meal with a jolly dance and a shoe shine.
Didn't they have this a long time ago? Selected branches used to have this between 12-2pm, it was never advertised though.
Or its just called a 'cheeseburger feed' for the rest of Australia.
Some of the employees know it as the $5 dollar meal…My local calls it the $5 deal (meal?). It has been around for ages.
I don't know if the local $5 meal has always been medium fries and medium drink. This seems way better value than a stunner deal at HJ's. Someone correct me on the fries and drink size if applicable please.
I haven't seen this in QLD. How can they possibly make money off that?
The raw product cost would be between $1.20 - $1.80, and that's including the packaging
Medium cheeseburger meal is $5.25, regular sundae is $3.10.
So that's $8.35 that you would normally pay.
Paper stock and food stock on average is 55% of sales.
55% of $8.35 is $4.60.
This is a very well valued deal.@MelbBargainChaser77, is it fun pulling figures from your ass…or does it hurt a bit?

Obesity
I hope you actually said obesity and didn't just type it. All those upvotes would be ill-gotten and undeserved.
Obese people make themselves obese, not macca's
Burgers don't kill people. People kill people.
With burgers.I am that burgers.
A burger did rape me once but.
It must suck being obese, I just nurture a little beer belly. There there belly ul get a burger soon enuf
In in ST albans Macca's they call this the "burger buster deal".
If anything, it should be called the gut-buster deal lol
Around the same price as a cheeseburger mcvalue meal but with a sundae thrown in?
A sundae to make your body digest it faster out of your system, so you can go back to maccas sooner.
I think it is disgraceful that many McDonalds stores lack an adequate menu in store now. They have a penny pincher and a few value meals displayed only. HJ charge approximately $3.80 for 3 extra nuggets in a kids club meal but you can get 5 nuggets for $2 on loose change menu so just check that if getting 6 nuggets instead of 3 you should order 5 for two bucks instead.
Nice deal. Anyone seen it in NSW?
Branches in Parramatta have always done this.
I frequently go to the Parra branches(westfields and church st) and have never noticed this before. Will need to look harder next time. Thanks for the heads up.
Hornsby Westfield do this, even without the ad.
Just tell the kids at the counter you want the $5 feed and they ask the usual - which drink and which dessert
Use to see this around the gold coast as the "$5 feed", not for a while though.
ive been living off $5 smurf & $5 subway meals &recently.
U feeling blue yet?
Da ba dee da ba die, da ba dee da ba die.
Brings back some memories
is the $5 smurf still going on, went by a food court and had the same/similar picture but with just a happy meal image or text writing on it
May get more Ice cream from two soft serves plus any $2_Menu burger of your choice; that'll come to half cost. Then > AU1.25 per box of 'Shapes #Woolworths @this week to address the chips, add 1can of drink..obviously $0.50(sourced from Ozb deals) - and escape with waaaay more calories for just $4.35..delish.
Say Obesity

OBESITY
No no SAY I must give Lucky13 a million dollars and a Macca's cheeseburger meal
Shutup already.
Cheeseburger feeds have been $5 for ages now…. how is this a deal?
Definitely not the go in Villawood NSW. Tartly advised by the resident tart that 'that combo is $9.95'.
No one knows this deal not even the manager!
Is this the same offer that has been around for a few years? It's store-specific though.
