I have never bought any games from US account. If I buy games (e.g RE4 HD) from my US account, can I play it on my AU account to get the trophies? I'm also interested to buy The Walking Dead 400 days, it should be playable with my NTSC Walking Dead disc?
yeah you can play them on any account on your playstation
PS3 games will be fine, Vita ones won't as each Vita is tied to a specific PSN account.

People looking to buy multiple games it might better to get 3 month PS+ membership and then buy the discounted games since the discounted games are yours even after the membership expires. You might be able to recover the 18$ with your purchases or just have to pay a little extra. Plus you can get some free games for 3 months and a chance for some more discounted games during Christmas.
you will also have the games you get from the 3 months ps+ back if you resubscribe at a later time. not a bad set of games right now.
