Before anyone goes "it was better in Fishponds last deal", that one was a pricing error.

Region 4 Bluray. That's new to me.

    • Fishpond has rather strange region codes. This WILL work on Aussie Bluray players (especially since GoT Blurays are region free).

    • Quote from fishpond:
"A multi-region player is required in order to play this disc in Australia."

      • Common sense: Region 4 is a DVD code, not a Bluray code.
Common sense: I have already stated that Game of Thrones Seasons 1-2 Bluray are Region FREE.

  • A bit mis leading, its $49.92 for both seasons

MightApe sells the boxset for ~$60 delivered.

So that's $10 more than this deal?

I too can find higher priced deals!

That's cheap. But i'm sure there's going to be a flood of gloat comments soon about how they got both seasons from Fishpond for $10 each a while ago.

I believe they were $10 for season 2 and $12 for season 1 and they're great, thanks for asking.

      • You got me on a technicality there :P

  • Just know that even though it says ships from local supplier it's really saying it ships to Fishpond from a supplier in New Zealand and then gets on shipped from Fishpond in New Zealand to your Australian address. It may take a week or two to arrive if it doesn't get held up through customs. Fishpond is in New Zealand even though they've got a .com.au web site.

  • Season 2 is actually $27.95

    I thought this wasn't allowed?

  • edit - too late, someone ask the same question above.

  • Just be wary of the condition that it may come in… It may not be shrink-wrapped as you would've hoped. My last order wasn't anyway.

    • One of my last order wasn't shrink wrapped either. Just got that one the other day. Still waiting on the rest of the orders.

International shipping is going slow this time of the year. So you might get these Game of Throne box sets from Fishpond in New Zealand in a few weeks. One of my orders was sent 2 weeks ago hadn't turned up yet.

    • The cheaper set I got from the previous Fishpond deal wasn't shrink wrapped. This was in part due to the item shipping from NZ and Fishpond or supplier opening them and sticking the NZ classification logos over the Australian ones. It was also sent in two parts. As stock arrived from supplier.
