I cannot get rid of it, as soon as I use a kmart URL it automatically puts me as the rep and wont let me undo it.
The Guidelines say:
Be transparent about why you are posting a deal here:
■ Declare upfront if you have a relationship to the business.
■ Declare upfront if you will benefit from the posting or if someone asked you to post here.
■ If you are affiliated with the company.
If any of the above is true, check the I am a Store Representative box.
So it does not always imply
one that can make proper rep decisions.
I would ask Kmart/Big W/EBGames, ect before using the title "rep" from there.
The policy and agreements you sign when you work there state that doing such a thing is entirely against it (it was the last time I went through the agreements which was last year).
I just don't want durd0008 being caught out.
I spoke to my bosses at kmart about this while I was there, they did not want staff using the rep tag.
But hell, if the Ozbargain guidelines say he must, then he should risk his job because ozbargain says so! So say roughana!
Just to add one more thing.
Last year (2012), Kmart issued a statement about Social Networks directly relating to this. They wished for us to use them, to enjoy them and to be safe (generic work stuff). But they did no want us speaking on behalf of Kmart (aka representing them) and would no tolerate negative comments about kmart on social networks. The last point doesn't apply, however the other does.
Like I said, I just don't want durd0008 being caught out. Ticking the rep box just to make a post isn't worth breaking his work agreement over.
Skylanders Swap Force Single Regular Characters
Does not include Swappable Swap Force Characters
This is not clear to me. I thought all Swap Force figurines would be swappable.
Are these single regular figurines from the new Swap Force series, or from the old Giants/Spyro series?
Yeah I think the marketing is misleading… they have swap force writing on the packet, but are not the swapable (and new) characters. i.e Chill.. pic here: http://www.bigw.com.au/media/BIGW/Product/1000x1000/AID12574…
I think they basically rerelease the older characters under the new name as technically they are playable in the new game..
Well spotted . That is incredibly misleading , no 2 ways about it .
Btw, if you are clueless, any "old" characters have a clear label stating "series 2" or "series 3" & if missed that there's also another sticker just above the character's name. All the actual "swappable" characters are not only packaged in a larger blister packaging, they is also a image on the corner of the box showing the figure being split in half. If that doesn't clearly indicate the "swap-ability"…
You people are kidding me, right? I'm under the impression that you all have purchased characters of the previous installments… the last game was called Skylanders: Giants & the packaging was labelled as such but not all figures were literally "giants". Of the 30+ characters available, only 8 were giants similarly of the 50+ available under the banner of Skylanders: Swap force for the game called Skylanders: Swap force, 16 are the actual members of the titular swap force.
Are you kidding ME !
Yes I've bought characters from the previous Giants range for my 5 year old but this new swap force isn't even out yet . Your obviously a bit of a fan I take it .
Skylanders will be the death of me!
I noticed that Dick Smith have a deal for the Swapforce starter pack this week. Only $75.
That's the cheapest I've seen so far.
Big W have them for $68
are the repackaged characters from the giants series in the swapforce packaging playable in the Giants game?
I don't know. I do know that the 'repackaged' ones are named differently (e.g. 'Blizzard' Chill) and have new abilities in the Swap Force game.
I bought 2 characters, Freeranger and Magnocharge today from the new swap force today and they are definitely are swappable. They scanned up as $9. These have a little paper wheel at the top left corner indicating they are the swappables and my sons have already opened the packages and verified it. No playing till the weekend though
You really like posting as a rep which I still find weird. Kmart doesn't have a real "rep" on ozbargain. Not one that can make proper rep decisions.
