The good guys are selling Pokemon X & Y for $44. I asked the guy instore for a discount if i paid cash and he took a dollar off so price came down to $43. They seem to have a lot of stock so great option if Big W is sold out.
I also picked up a 3ds XL for $233 ($238 list price with $5 discount). Not a great bargain on the 3ds but the best store price i could find today.

Went down to my local Big W (and EB Games) yesterday to find out they didn't have stock. I really don't have the time to chase up an instore stock one so $2 for delivery is fine with me.
just got mine.

Hah, I just paid $44 yesterday morning at Big W. Great game coming from the last games I've played being Yellow and Leafgreen, the complexity is strong. If anyone wants a friend to O-power with, message me lol.

If you can't find stock at either TGG or BigW, it's worth asking in JB if they'll pricematch. Did that today, games guy just said "yeah sure" and told the cashier to charge me 44.
I used the $20 voucher TGG sent me for joining their mailing list to get the 2ds for $118 ($138 price match with big w - 20 voucher).
Also on Saturday (release date) the 2ds was listed as $148 and pokemon was $58 so it might just be that price to stay competitive (I.e. the same price as big w)
How did you get the $20 voucher? Is it still valid? I signed up to there mailing list and haven't got anything
I paid 49 on Saturday, which I wasn't unhappy with.
Sydney CBD is so far from a Big W, that nobody would price match them, but they would price match the Target at Broadway.
a $5 saving would cover getting me to and from a Big W
EB Galleries Victoria said they would only price match stores in the centre - aka the JB hifi next door.
What is the point of that? It strikes me as the most useless price match policy imaginable - if there was a cheaper price in the centre I'd award my business to that operator.
