Travel Insurance (Heading to Amsterdam/Poland)

Just wondering what the best value travel insurance was? I've seen quotes from TID, but the insurance cost of a few hundred seems a bit crazy to me..

I'd be in Europe for about 7 weeks, and I purchased my tickets through Vayama. I'm flying with China Southern. Would it be cheaper/more comprehensive to book insurance through them?

Sorry, total noob here! Thanks for the help.

  • Aust Post TI may be worth a look. Often better to get a 12 mth policy if you are planning other travel since it is only a little more expensive. Amsterdam and Poland - two of my favourite things.

  • Have you tried 1cover? http://www.1cover.com.au/

  • Try Southern Cross Travel Insurance. Have recommended this company to quite a few fellow O.B.s as they are professional & Pay out should you need to use. They have a great follow up to ensure everything was satisfactory & are also less expensive than others. Look at them on line to confirm this & no I am not affiliated with them - just a very happy customer. When looking for a quote obviously you will need to go for a "world" policy. Good luck & please post your results.
