If you're in Sydney, I'd contact them to pick it up from Kingsford, or wherever their warehouse is.
$49 is excessing shipping IMHO, when some ppl are getting notebooks shipped from the US for $50US.

    Even with the $49 shipping charge, it is still the best price on staticice.com.au for this model.

    If you want to pickup from Apus the price is: $677.55 as clearly shown on the APUS website: http://www.apus.com.au/products_search.php?key=1000HA if you want to buy it online the price is $599.95. You can't ring up APUS and say I want the Shopping Square price but I'll pick it up thanks.

        The online price is $599.95 DELIVERED which you point is stupidly expensive. The link from APUS to buy online is to Shopping Square. Shopping Square donot allow pickup under any circumstances. From their FAQ: Can I organise my own courier? Can I pick up from your warehouse? NO.

    Alot of people selling it for $598 pick up. with postage it still $0.95 more expensive. not really a great bargain
