  • Please add Torpedo7 to the title (as mentioned in the Title guidelines).
Also, the same voucher code is listed in the Free Shipping & $10 Discount for Orders over $50 at Torpedo7 (Bike/Snow/Skate/Fish) deal, which is marked as expired, so does that make this deal a dupe & also expired?

    • The free shipping has expired, but the 10 dollar discount is for a while yet.

  • I am not up to date with prices, but I have used both these tires and can recommend.

I would also check Wiggle and Pro Bike Kit just to confirm the price, but looks pretty good deal.

  • get these if you like sidewall blowouts. i always thought it was bs…until it happened to me.

    • Try the Michelin's then, have done 1500km+ and look good, I was impressed when I saw a double-gee stuck in it, pull out no issue; so used to pulling them out only to hear the tyre deflate. Maybe was lucky, maybe the double-gee hadn't dried out fully.

Also have used Maxxis Refuse with puncture liners for 3000km+, they have got tears from nails glass etc I have just applied glue and a patch to the inside, perhaps after looking at some pictures of blowouts their time is up :)

    • I have just changed my last set of GP 4000's. I was extremely happy with them they lasted my 6 months and 4581km's. I would highly recommend.

  • +1

Wiggle have 2 x GP4000s (23mm) for $76.18 which is cheaper for those of you where the T7 tubes are not suitable (their 42mm stem is a bit short for me). I've since moved to 25mm tyres which are getting harder to find at the same low price as the 23mm. I'd recommend 25mm for anyone who rides on normal Aussie roads as they are smoother and a bit more puncture resistant for a very small weight penalty.
