I'm not much of a fan of Mwave, but after my phone's microsd became corrupt last night I was looking for the best deal on a replacement.
$24 (+0.48 cents cc surcharge) with free shipping was the best I could find - especially since I live too far from town to make the trip worthwhile. I hope someone else finds it useful.
That has nothing to do with the card itself. The best way to test it would be directly inserting the card to a your phone/tablet or even laptop (with an SD adapter) and do a file transfer test. By doing this, all other factors would be eliminated.

My phone's internal memory reaches over 30MB/s read, so I know it's the card.
You're probably just using a really budget card reader with a crappy USB host controller. Smart Phones are not valid platforms for benchmarking removable storage media with as their read/write speeds are hampered by their limited batteries which prevent them from actually delivering maximum throughput; to conserve battery life.
I'm just trying to share my experience with this card. It's still plenty fast…just not 48MB/s fast :p

Bought one of these recently from Memory City for a whopping $1.47 more :(
Testing it in a USB 2.0 card reader, and in my razr v android phone, the read speed only reaches 23MB/s maximum (19MB/s average).
I think that unless you have a newer phone/tablet or a USB 3.0 card reader, you're not going to get anywhere near the advertised speeds.
Still a good price, though also sucks since the speed is the main reason I bought one.
