  Great post. But. The exam is fairly worthless with out attending the compulsory classes. You can pass the exam but you wont earn the certificate.

  Still if someone was thinking about attending the class & certifying, it would be cool to do the exam first so you can ask questions in the class.

  Let me know if you have any other vendor exam discounts/freebies.

    jso, I'm confused at your statement "You can pass the exam but you wont earn the certificate"

    If a person has absolutely no knowledge, how are they going to pass the exams?

    If you pass the exams, you would be deem knowledgeable and hence certified. Why would you not earn the certificate?

  Can the OP Please tell me if he/she actually used this successfully?
  I actually am very interested in obtaining this cert and have other certs this can be added to for vmware, getting it for nothing would be awesome!

    It works for me after i login to my pearsonvue account. Have you guys tried calling the exam centers ans see if they can apply the discount on your behalf.
