      • Haha cheers bloke :)
Good post btw.. didn't even pickup on burnout being in the bundle when I checked the email. Far too tired this morning

    • thanks for confirming i wasnt seeing things aswell :)

  • +7

FTL is far far too addictive, verges on civilization levels of just one more turn

EDIT: Also the Humble Bundle is separate keys for each game :D

    • +2

Agreed, I've spent a good 40+ hours playing FTL. Well worth the 2.50 i paid for it.

      • +2

Me too. I had a real FTL problem for a while

Burnout Paradise is a really solid racer. If you like NFS style racers (not technical like GT/Forza) then you'd probably like this.

In all honesty, the open-ness and driving mechanics alone are enough to keep me entertained :p I was just cutting sick around town on a bike for so long I completely forgot how you initiate races till A friend was checking it out -_-

Oh and plays nicely on lower hardware. Still looks pretty nice though, kinda like polished simplicity I guess?

BP is sh**- threw it out the week I got it. What a way 2 assassinate a great game- R.I.P Burnout

      • Could you provide some more detailed feedback, all I'm getting is that you didn't like it?

    • how do you play online? cant get it to at all.

  • got the humble bundle, too bad we couldn't choose to give Phil Fish nothing without screwing over the other devs

    • +3

You can do that, if you really want to.
On step 2, click the drop down arrow beside 'Developers' and move your sliders to dictate which amount goes to each developer.

Sweet deal, love me some humble bundles. Burnout is also excellent, but since it was in the Origin bundle at this price it seems kinda meh :P

One change to note guys - if you look on humblebundle.com it actually specifies this time that there will be extra games added, though getting them later will require beating the average now. No more dollar buys now for extra games later :)

    • Yeah I noticed that too and a smart move by HB on that one. People will be much more likely to pay the average now, especially if this first time around they give us a whole bunch of nice surprise games.

By the way, was anyone else getting a Paypal error when they try to pay by Paypal this morning? Seems to be fixed now and my payment went through ok.

      • Yeah, I had a PayPal error too, I tried again a few minutes later and it worked.

    • getting them later will require beating the average now. No more dollar buys now for extra games later :)

Very interesting…like you say, seems you you can't get the additional games anymore unless you pay the average, even before the additional games come out. This is the first time they have done this AFAIK.

      • Its also the first time they have actually told people that they will be adding some extra games later on if Im not mistaken. Most regular users would know this occurs however new buyers would likely not realise so this is a smart step by HB.

I expect averages of this and future humble bundles to reach somewhat higher from this point onwards, although there is of course a point where the pricing becomes unattractive and less impulsive so they need to be careful, I think that may of happened with the last comedy bundle which had a a high average too early on.

    • +1

No you do not have to beat the average it is currently at. As long as when you bought it, you beat the average, then you will get the new game.

"If you pay more than the average at your time of purchase, you’ll automatically unlock even more games when they arrive!"

I bought the pack for $10, the average at the time was $4.43. I should automatically get the new game, Hopefully.

Any guesses on what it could be?

      • Friday?

      • It's usually one week after the initial release, so either Thursday or Friday next week.

And yes, that's what I said. Previously you could buy the pack for $1 now (and never beat the average) and when new games are added you would get them anyway, without any extra payment. Now you need to beat the average, and yes like you say it's the average at time of your initial purchase, not the current average purchase.

    • Another note for buyers: There's a small issue with activating your keys on steam, at least there was this morning when I did. Many of the games are recognised by Steam as DLC keys; this means when you activate them you'll get a message along the lines of "DLC succesfully activated, you will be able to use it when you purchase the full game", and the games won't show up in your library. All you need to do however is restart Steam, and all the games will be there and ready to install :)

  • I really love these bundles, thanks.

  • cool thanks :)

That's 3 games in the bundle I was looking at getting! woo!

    Steam sharing on the way?

    http://store.steampowered.com/sharing/

  • Great games! Now is a good time to pick up Fez, it's awesome. For the first time I actually own all the games…

    • Seconded! Mark of the Ninja is worth $10 by itself. This pack is really amazing value.

  • Anyone still having trouble with paying via PayPal?

At this time, we are unable to process your request. Please return to Humble Bundle, Inc. and try another option.

Humble Bundles are actually the best thing in the world I've decided.

    • Better than chocolate? Better than making love?

      • +3

        Yes.

More satisfying. Lasts longer. Less on the hips.

        Dare I say … cheaper.

        • Less tears also.

    • +1

After buying the Origin Humble Bundle, all other Humble Bundles seem pale in comparison.

  • I was so close to buying fez on steam sale

  • Does anyone know if Beta versions of HB games usually get upgraded to full versions when they are released (regarding Eets Munchies).

    • As far as I know, this is the first time they've offered a Beta. So, nothing is sure, but my instinct says it will be.

      • I would expect it to be upgraded. They've had unfinished games before like Prison Architect in the Introversion bundle, which is still in alpha development.

        • Yeah I do recall there being at least one or two betas. I noticed in my list of purchased games though that Eets Munchies doesn't have Beta mentioned on it at all so that's perhaps a good sign.

  • I fell asleep…

    • Thanks for the key.

  • Anyone know if the Brutal Legends soundtrack include all of the 100 or so songs in it?

    • It's the Original SoundTrack. Just music composed specifically for Brütal Legend.

    • No, but I have seen compilations of all the songs around on the net

  • +1

Already played Fez and Mark of the Ninja on Xbox Live, but still paid more than average. That's Humble Bundles for ya.

  • Been waiting for Braid to be part of a bundle as I've missed out on it previously.

Anybody have any idea on what the BTA games will be yet?

    • I know what you mean. I have been waiting for Stacking. Missed the double fine bundle…

  • +1

I do wonder if it will make people hold off until the second week before buying to see if it is worth paying the BTA price.

  • Mark of the Ninja alone is worth the price of admission for me personally. Tempted the idea of getting it on XBL when it first came out but held back when I learned a PC version was coming. The rest is just icing on the cake.

  • I got this despite already having 4 of the games already on Xbox. Its just that good.

  • FTL…I love to hate thee…

  • Awesome value, thanks for the post. Always wanted to play Fez and Brutal Legend is an awesome game. Looking forward to trying out the others too.

New BTA games! Rocket chicken, Bastion, A virus named TOM, and LIMBO!
Worth the price for LIMBO alone imo. This is a great bundle.
