    Kogan are now flooding with under $20 purchases. They make more mistake to cover their mistake. I want to see how they deal with this.

    This is just hilarious… Whoever got into trouble for the pricing mistake is already on the sh$tlist.. let alone someone else who didn't code the voucher so that purchases must be greater than $50..

    Someone at Kogan must be ropable.. i don't doubt heads will roll over the voucher screwup.. lol

    Just called nsw fair trading. They are very interested in this matter. If people that purchased could lodge a enquiry, they will review the matter. They would like the links of this forum and other material. I mentioned Kogan deleting comments on twitter.

      Finally, some sense. I have sent through a formal complaint to Kogan and said it will go to ACCC next. There's about six/seven reasons why it's bait advertising including the previous form (error on same phone three months ago), twitter communication, timing with iPhone and specified end date. We shall see…

      the number of people who went "I'll never bla bla bla again" is much lower than the number of silent buyers who bought <$20 items

      this is a win win situation for many ozbargainers if,

      • you gotten the full refund in a timely manner
      • you gotten a free $20 item delivered to your doorstep

      I don't know what more do human beings want after compensation is given.

        put it this way… if we dont use the $20 thats $20 kogan earnt through bait/switching/and although the email says refund will be made in 24hrs - god knows what the reality is… (if its a week+ for alot of ppl then they'll really have a case to answer to)

        we all should use the voucher to order <$20 items - send a clear message to kogan NOT to make monumental stuff up like this again - or to set systems to correct it in appropriate time (as mentioned numerous times - alarm bells should have gone up after 1hr that the S4 order rate has gone up 1000%)

    Used the voucher on the Tetris mug which I don't need or care about, but I like the idea of all the extra work they'll have processing, packing and delivering orders that people got for free. I would urge people to use their voucher on items that are less than $20 too - even with things slightly over $20 (such as the $29 USB storage) where you pay a small difference you are still giving them money. They could still make a profit on those items too due to the huge markup.

      Step 1. Check Speeeeling

      Step 2. Check no spaces before or after coupon code

      Step 3. Check that your using upcase/lowercase if required

      Step 4. If none of the other steps have fixed the problem then contact Kogan, they've offered you 20 dorrah free spend so you should get it.
